A NEW BOUTIQUE TREE FARM WITH A TIBETAN NAME

Emaho is a Tibetan Sanskrit word which means “wonderful and amazing” and is a fitting name for this cherished family property and boutique tree farm located in picturesque scenic ranges close to Ravensbourne National park, 150km north west of Brisbane.

The 40 acre tree farm was established in 2002 by James and Barbara McGeoch who previously operated the well known Birkdale Nursery in Brisbane for 27 years.

Emaho Trees specializes in a range of advanced, premium quality Australian native trees grown in-ground for sub-tropical to cool temperate landscaping. The property’s rich volcanic soil and climate is well suited to many popular and unique trees required to be hardy, drought tolerant and low maintenance.

A range of attractive, hardy, Australian native trees (primarily rainforest species) is offered plus Calodendron capense (Cape Chestnut), a magnificent exotic evergreen tree which is highly sought after for its attractive rounded canopy and masses of mauve/pink flowers.

Also, new plantings underway will provide exciting alternatives to some Australian native trees currently in use in the landscape industry.

Visit www.emahotrees.com.au to view the actual trees in four categories based on common landscape requirements (Street Trees, Flowering/Ornamental Trees, Hedge/Screen Trees and Specimen Trees).  When clicking on the thumbnail photographs, large photos and full descriptions including special uses and conditions will appear. The Availability List sets out the quantities with their current height, spread, and clear trunk and caliper specifications.
