Announcement of new calendar of events for the
Landscape Australia Expo
After lengthy consultation and agreement with key industry associations, leading suppliers and industry personnel, event organisers Exhibitions & Trade Fairs Pty Ltd wish to announce the launch a new calendar of events for the Landscape Australia Expo.
The Landscape Australia Expo is designed and dedicated to address the latest products, services, technologies and trends across all sectors of the industry. In order to best service the various industry sectors and optimize the growth of the events, the Landscape Australia Expo is adopting a new format. The new format will see two events being held each year on a bi-annual basis. In order to make the transition to this new format as smooth as possible, the 2009 Sydney Expo has been postponed until 2010. The 2009 Perth and Melbourne Expos will continue to run which will then lead into the start of the bi-annual format in 2010 in which the Sydney & Perth Expos will be held. The Landscape Australia Expo will return to Brisbane and Melbourne in 2011.
There are several factors that have been taken into consideration to reach this decision:
- allowing longer lead times for the development, preparation and launching of new products and services
- giving sufficient time for sales staff to follow up on new leads generated during the exhibitions
- greater opportunity of participation for the companies that distribute and exhibit across multiple states
- reduced down time for key industry personnel allowing for maximum attendance as well as increased interstate attendance
This decision was not made lightly and is our firm belief that it is in the best interest of the industry and in turn, the Landscape Australia Expo.
